Curiouser and curiouser...

So CAMRT didn't get either of my exam applications I faxed to them, and oddly enough, this may actually work in my favor, as I have recently learned that Ontario has its own x-ray registry requirements, and most hospitals in Ontario require that in lieu of the CAMRT (although it's encouraged to get national registry), but if I don't leave Ontario, then it's not a problem. I emailed my clinical coordinator and requested that she send me the syllabi for the medical imaging classes I took, as that's required for the Ontario x-ray registry people to determine whether my bachelor's degree is substantially similar to that of a Canadian program. It takes them four freakin' months, but at $356 USD (as opposed to $850 for the bloody CAMRT exam), I think I'll live. And honestly, I don't foresee Ontario not accepting my curriculum as equivalent, since the CAMRT did already.

There are a ton of x-ray jobs available in the Toronto area. It's looking better and better. Vancouver's neat and everything, but realistically, there are no full-time jobs available anymore, they're all hiring per-diem!

Retaking the CAMRT in May instead of January cos I couldn't scrape the money together in time.

I WILL PASS IT THIS TIME, DAMMIT.

I need to get my passport renewed and my roommate needs to apply for his passport.

I've been invited to stay with an IRC/Facebook friend who lives literally just down the street from the testing site, I'm very excited to meet him in person.
